Bologna is well connected to the largest Italian cities. The A1 motorway (“Autostrada del Sole”) links Bologna with Milan, Florence and Rome. The A13 motorway links Bologna with Ferrara, Padua and Venice, while the A14 connects it with Rimini and Ravenna.

Bologna is connected with high-speed trains to Milan (65 min), Florence (37 min), Rome (2 hrs), Naples (3 hrs and 45 min), Turin (2 hrs). Bologna Central train station is just a 10 minute bus journey from BolognaFiere. Buses numbers 35 and 38 stop at the Piazza Costituzione and Viale Aldo Moro entrances.
